Wow, September. where has the time gone this year? 3 months until Christmas. How has that happed.
What a year 2020 has been for us all I am sure.
It has been a while since my last blog, but in my defence, I have had one hell of a few months.
Life has taken over and some exciting news along the way.
SO, what have I been up to?
Like us all this year has been a total mad time, but I have also had some rather unpleasant experiences also along the way. But that is other people’s doing and they have to live with their consequences and actions. But this gave me a scope to rethink what I want to do and expand my career in. So, one morning a couple of months ago, I woke up and thought I need to do more, I need to help others, I want to launch my own products, I want to get mindset and positivity and all good out there.
#beyoubyjs was born and the JSP haven to all things good, through Facebook was launched.
The first thing I wanted to do is give myself a platform to aid others, so I created a group on Facebook purely for females, not just for mums, or single, or career, it’s for all ladies to feel good, talk, lift each other up.
I also started a male wellbeing group for males.
This then thought, I work from home, I love fashion, funky outfits for house, I love makeup, let’s look to design and launch things that I love.
So, I did. I started to research and design and sources suppliers. It is amazing what you can do when you have a bit of passion and motivation, as well as ideas.
I started an online page over various sites on social media and the rest started to come along throughout the month. I went live on the 1st September. I have to be honest the first few days of products has been amazing.
The groups on face book are getting brilliant responses and I have bit the bullet and started to do live talks and sessions on line.
The feedback has been fantastic and finally feel I am making a difference to others.
So the moral of this story ?
If you have a dream, you can make it a reality, with a little bit of motivation and passion. It did take some capital to start, but I did think what’s the worst that can happen? It doesn’t sell and I have to look at other ways to sell. The groups don’t go down well, so I close them, people don’t interact so I stop.
Its given me a sense of purpose and I feel alive.
I miss teaching, interaction with others, so this has been great, but I am slowly starting sessions again, but also looking at delivery of online courses. I will never stop teaching a is do love it and over last week I have been approached to design and deliver lots f. new content…
So from bad experiences and other peoples will for me to fail.. I have found a new passion for life and work..
My moral of this tale, what’s the worst that can happen? Give it a go !
Have a brilliant weekend
